Ever since the gallery got an Irving Penn photograph of Joe Louis, I've been into 1940s-60s boxing, watching youtube videos of interviews and fights, etc. Perhaps my favorite, even though it's from a mac commercial, is of Mohammad Ali dancing. "You know I'm not there, I'm here."
Last week, one of our artists, David Rathman, told me about No Mas, a company that used one of his paintings for a t-shirt design. I love it , especially the text. No Mas also makes replica 1960s Cassius Clay and Muhammad Ali T-shirts. So cool.
