My conversation with Ben just 5 days ago while I was reading Franny and Zooey in bed:

Ben: Won't it be crazy when he dies?

me: Why?

Ben: Because you know he's been writing all this time. I wonder what they will find in his house when he's gone.....

and then 3 days later he dies. Granted he was 91 years old, but how strange.
