celebrating

This month we had much to celebrate. Birthdays, springs arrival, new projects, and having our good friend Molly return home to MN! Last weekend Ben and I made a trip up the shore and stayed at a little cabin in the woods. It was a much needed break, and a great place to celebrate his 27th birthday! We made dinner from things we bought at the cute coop in Grand Marais, and drank wine by the fire catching up. On our way home we stopped at brighton beach to admire the waves. Ben decided he needed to swim and hopped in. It doesn't matter if its winter or summer, he will never turn down a swim if it involves waves. The picture of his bloody side is from being knocked over by a wave into a sharp rock....he didnt seem to mind though. Tough guy...We finished the day having some beers at Sir Bens. As the month is drawing to an end, we still have some exciting things coming up. Homegrown music fest starts this week, Molly's visit, and more birthdays to get ready for.
