weekend.

I had a topnotch weekend. The sun did come and it stayed all weekend. Ben and I spent hours working on the gardens, fixing up the lawn, and working on the outside of the house. I managed to get all my training runs in and went to the greatest estate sale EVER. The sale was so massive it was in a warehouse. There were so many great things - huge old Audubon plates, jewelry, the cutest tapestry ever, cameras, dishes, tons of Scandinavian stuff, and the list goes on. On Sundays, Estate sales usually have half prices things so I went back. This time they gave you a box and let you fill it for $5!!! It was my dream come true and I found so many wonderful things for the house and shop.

Did you all have a good weekend? I decided on Friday that what I really wanted to do for Valentine's Day is eat pancakes. I love breakfast food, but rarely indulge in bacon, eggs, and pancakes. So after a morning of thrifting, Ben and I stopped in good old Bridgeman's where I devoured a rather large portion of good old fashion breakfast (along with a milkshake of course). After that we sat around watching the Olympics, and then we headed to a friends house for a nice dinner and played Wii Olympics till midnight.

Ben bought me the large Amethyst for Valentine's Day. Isn't it gorgeous?

I also decided to put up some vintage clothes over at Hello Victory. I have been weary of selling vintage clothes in the shop, but I decided to just suck it up and try it for now.

I go thrifting quite a lot for Hello Victory, and though most of the time (99%) I sell pretty much everything I find, there are instances when I can't let some things go. Case and point: today.
