holiday dress.

This isn't the greatest picture of my vintage holiday dress, but the sun wasn't out and I refuse to use the flash. Besides, I don't want to give too much away! If you can't tell, it has silver thread all over making it really shiny. It also has a tulip type bottom which will be hemmed about 12 inches making it into a mini dress. Perfect for the holidays. I don't have any New Years plans so maybe I'll wear this to the boutique's Christmas party.

{Ben's pumpkin was shedding happy tears since he was fulfilling his destiny of being a jack-o-lantern} {The best part of carving pumpkins! We roasted these with sea salt and pepper}


Like I mentioned below. Ben and I had a pretty awesome Halloween. We had so much fun carving our pumpkins. I kind of wimped out and just drilled a design of holes around mine, but it looked pretty neat when lit up in the dark. As you can see pumpkin carving isn't complete with out a pint (it was my last day to drink!).

i never was a huge fan of fireworks until last year.

we went to dannys sailboat and sat close to where they were launching them

it felt like they were falling on our heads (pretty trippy really)

this year we rented a cottage with some friend in grand marais

......

on saturday were waking up and doing this

and for the rest of the day i hope to lay in the sun and eat lots of food

......
